Research On The Rural Road Performance Evaluation And Upgraded Standards

"three agricultural problems"is the key point of governments. Rural road is basic condition to develop rural economy and improve production and life of farmers. Near ten thousand km rural brick road was constructed in west region during "Ninth and Tenth Five-year",which efficiently solved the difficulty of farmers'travel.Rural roads are sufferring widespread disease of subsidence and fragmentation While inadequate maintenance capital and power restricts transport capacity and rural economic development.The project developped field surveys and testing. Causes of various diseases were analyzed and service status of existing brick road were evaluated with individual and comprehensive evaluation methods. Based on deterioration analysis of brick road performance,overall evaluation criteria based on analytic bierarchy process and cosin method were proposed.the mechanical properties of upgraded brick road structure were studied by FEM analysis and upgraded typical structures were drafted and constuction technical guidelines were composed.Research achievements of this project can not only improve the traffic capacity and quality of rural roads and properly utilize broken brick material, but also save the cost of road construction and have better environmental benefit and can be popularized to application.
