Along with the increase of service age of drainage systems, municipal pipeline networks which are made of concrete suffer more and more serious sewage pollution. So it becomes more and more important for us to analyze the corrosion damage mechanism of sewage on steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) and look for engineering material with higher strength and better durability. Therefore, this paper conducts systematic experimental investigation of sewage corrosion on SFRC on the basis of other related researchers'investigations about sewage corrosion on normal concrete, and some achievements are acquired. Following works include in this paper:(1) The effects of curing age, specimen size and steel fiber volume fraction on the basic mechanical properties and the size effects of compressive strength and flexural strength of SFRC are investigated by means of the test of SFRC through tap water curing. The results show that the compressive strength and flexural strength of all specimens increase with the increase of the curing ages, and the steel fiber can obviously improve the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete. The different size effects of compressive and flexural strength are in existence.(2) According to the acid corrosion test results of SFRC, With the same pH value, the corrosion degree of organic acid solution on SFRC is more serious than inorganic acid solution. Steel fiber can effectively reduce the acid corrosion degree on SFRC.(3) Based on the corrosion test of higher concentration domestic sewage and industrial waster-water on SFRC, the corrosion damage degree of SFRC suffering to domestic sewage and industrial waster-water is studied, and the size effects of compressive strength and flexural strength of SFRC are analyzed. The results show that domestic sewage and industrial waster-water have different degree damage on compressive strength and flexural strength of SFRC. The size effects of SFRC compressive and flexural strength have no notable relativity with experiment circumstance.(4) On the basis of the corrosion test of SFRC under sewage drying-wetting cycle and load action-sewage corrosion coupling, the effects of sewage drying-wetting cycle or load action-sewage corrosion coupling on the corrosion resistance of SFRC are investigated. The experimental results show that the corrosion damage under sewage drying-wetting cycle or load action-sewage corrosion coupling is larger than single sewage corrosion, and the corrosion damage degree of SFRC with load action-sewage corrosion coupling have connection with loading level.
