This thesis researches on visual system of air cushion vehicle simulator based on the "xxx Air Cushion Vehicle Simulator(ACV)", aimed at reasonable disposing computer resources then building a visual system, which measures up to the performances standards. It studies the method of building visual system of ACV simulator, and explores ocean scene simulation technology deeply to solving practical problems in the process of building visual system, then researches on wave numerical simulation and numerical model of air cushion vehicle wave-making. At last, it completes ocean scene simulating program preliminarily by means of rendering these models. The main tasks are as follows:1) 3D model database required in the visual system is established by Creator, and the database will be transferred into Vega LynX to get an adf format file. After that, the program calls the relevant Vega API functions to drive and render 3D scene, an executable file is generated and the whole visual system of ACV is completed finally.2) The paper studies methods of open-sea wave numerical modeling, and establishes wave numerical models based on the P-M seawave spectrum and Perlin noise function respectively. After comparing display effects of the two models, they are superposed according to a certain proportion to establish an open-sea wave numerical model. The numerical model operates rapidly and has high-reality.3) Studies the calculation method of far-field wave shape affected by ACV. According to Bernoulli's equation and boundary conditions, the wave elevation is a function of velocity potential, as a result, the paper applies Green's function method to solve the velocity potential and converted the wave elevation into a single integral, then the wave elevation was generated by means of unit TENT function at last. Comparing the wave shapes which are calculated by ACV wave-making numerical model at different speeds to test results already existed, it will be founded that they inosculate with each other well.4) Based on above tasks, the paper renders these wave models using DirectX, and obtains a wave simulation program with interactive interface. The program can simulate real open-sea waves under different sea conditions and display different waves in different driving situations.
