In this paper, electromagnetic actuator of diesel engine is designed and researched. The structure, principle and design characteristic of electromagnetic actuator is introduced, and its design platform is developed. The calculating of electromagnetic force is completed. Electromagnetic actuator is modeled, and its dynamic characteristics are simulated. Electromagnetic actuator is tested on its test-bed. The research focus on the following implementation.With the analysis of working principle and basic structure, designe content and mothed of electromagnetic actuator are constituted, and digital developing platform is established. The platform can realize parameter designing of actuator, and can create 3D model of its workpiece automatically.Electromagetic force of electromagnetic actuator is calculated with Ansoft software, and get some value of parameters, such as number of coil,diameter of coil. The relation of parameters of electromagetic actuator and its static characteristic is obtained with simulating method.Model of electromagnetic actuator is established based on electromagnetic equation, circuit equation, electromagnetic force equation, and motion equation. After the model is simulated with Matlab/Simulink software, the ralation of drive vlotage, number of coil, resistance of coil and response characteristic of electromagnetic actuator is got.The test-bed of electromagnetic actuator is designed.With test-bed, pull-push sensor and fast signal gather equipment, static and dynamic characteristics are checked. In contrast with MTU product, our electromagnetic actuator can satisified with requirment of design.
