To prevent rail turnover when the train passing is one of the main functions of fastening systems. The fastening's anti-turnover performance is related with many factors such as toe load of fastenings, rail pad and baseplate pad stiffness. If the fastening's anti-rail turnover performance is poor, under lateral wheel load, lateral displacement of rail head will become larger, and the dynamic gauge widening will also increase. Excessive dynamic gauge widening will influence the safety and stability of train. Besides, lateral displacement of rail head is also the representation of lateral elastic rail support. Appropriate lateral elastic rail support will help to mitigate the lateral wheel load, and hold the stability of train.Through theoretical deduction and experimental verification, the anti-rail turnover performance of the existing fastenings and rail turnover calculation method was researched in the thesis. With the model of infinite elastic point support beam, infinite elastic foundation continuous beam and finite element method, the influence of three kinds of fastenings to rail torsional deformation and the lateral displacement of rail head caused by torsional deformation were analyzed. The corresponding calculation program is compiled with VB language. The anti-rail turnover performance of typeâ…¡spring clip fastenings was researched under the condition of 60kg/m rail and 75kg/m rail. Finally, the lateral elastic rail support performance and anti-rail turnover performance of WJ-7 fastenings and WJ-8 fastenings which have been used in ballastless track of dedicated passenger lines were researched.
