ABSTRACT:The train positioning system is a critical technology in the train control system. GNSS will be introduced to the existing train positioning based on odometer (ODO). It can reduce the error and improve the performance of the positioning system, and achieve the train precise positioning with lower cost. Therefore, research on the GNSS/ODO train positioning methods has important practical significance. The paper will focuses on the research on both the improvement of train positioning accuracy and the track occupancy automatic identification algorithm:First of all, in the paper, a train integration positioning system based on GNSS/ODO which is used to realize the positioning system information collection, information synchronization, information records and information integration is introduced. The whole software design method and the implementation are well analyzed.Secondly, the application of an improved Sage-Husa adaptive filter in the train integration positioning system under a specific environment is explored in the thesis, The performance is verified with the actual field data collected in Sanjiadian station of Beijing Railway Bureau. And the update of train running position on the track is accurately and reliably achieved with the processed positioning information.Finally, based on the historical train positioning information and the track information, a track occupancy automatic identification based on the average Frechet distance is proposed in the paper. And distance between two elements of the reference template, train speed and other related parameters of the selection strategy are discussed. The related tests of the track occupancy automatic identification algorithm are carried out with the field test data in Sanjiadian station of Beijing Railway Bureau. And a fast and effective implementation of track occupancy automatic identification is emerged in the paper.
