Energy and Environment are crucial problems for the development of National Economy. Coal-fired power generators are being faced with the two targets to raise boiler efficiency and lower the emissions. NOx emissions are a main factor of all the pollutant. So Application of Combustion Optimization Technology in Coal-fired Boiler takes both boiler efficiency and NOx emissions into account.Aim at application situation of Combustion Optimization Technology at home and abroad, this work is involved in modeling on Exhaust Gas Temperature by SVM and LS-SVM and BP-NN on the basis of boiler operational data and coal character data, the predicted accuracy of SVM model is more high precision than LS-SVM and BP-NN, and the convergence speed is very high. And their hyper parameters of the first two algorithms are optimized based on the cross validation methods and optimization algorithm, which deals with nonlinear problems without significant overfitting problem.Based on large quantity of laboratory coal quality data, a Support Vector Machine model optimized by Differential Evolution was put forward to predict ultimate analysis data such as Carbon and Nitrogenelement of coal from its proximate analysis data such as Volatile Matter, fixed carbon, ash, calorific value, sulfur and hydrogen. Compared with the existing models, this model has higher prediction precision, and is suitable for wider coal range.On the basis of SVM model of unburned carbon in fly ash, exhaust gas temperature, NOx emissions according to boiler operational data and coal character data in blended coal combustion, Boiler can operate in optimization by adjusting boiler operational parameters in oxygen consumption and opening of quadratic ventilation door through optimization approach according to different optimization goal. The results show Combustion Optimization Technology in Coal-fired Boiler is achieved by raising boiler efficiency which based on determinate NOx emissions. After modeling and Optimization in Combustion Optimization Technology in Coal-fired Boiler, it is convenient for both boiler operational optimization and blended coal combustion optimization.
