A Research Of Scenic Forest Applied In The Urbanization Garden

For a long time past, we have made too many efforts to the visual effects while too little to the ecological ones when we arrange garden trees and plants. In some cities artificial mountains and waters are made everywhere while the scenic woods are merely chosen as the decoration of the garden building. The main cause of this phenomenon is that the growing of the scenic woods takes relatively a longer time before they will finally display their beauty as compared with the building of the mountains, waters, pavilions and towers. According to statistics, the utilization rate of the scenic woods in the urban garden building is the lowest as compared with that of the other forms. Therefore, it is of great significance for us to introduce the scenic woods into our urban garden building and greatly increase their employment since it has much to do with the sustainable development of our nation's urban forestry and the improvement of our urban citizen's living environment.For the highlighting of the important status and functions of the scenic woods in urban gardening, the author has made a systematic study and a rational distribution of the practical utilization of the scenic woods in the urban gardening of Changsha city so as to show the natural and mood beauty of the garden woods, with integration of the theories of the forest ecology, plants community, scenery ecology and aesthetics as the guidance, the forest community natural succession rules as the basis, and full employment of the methods for resources investigation,3S technology as well as bio-techs. Therefore, with the integration of the present development situation of the urban gardening in Changsha city, the author of this paper has made a site investigation on the employment of scenic woods in the urban gardening of this city with the aim of strengthening the situation.Firstly, on the basis of the proving of the necessity of the garden woods employment in the urban gardening, the author clearly defines the scenic woods as a type of forest plants community with the arbor as its main component and an integration of arbor, bush and herbal. In this paper, a comparative analysis has been made on the research trends of the scenic woods at home and abroad. And a site investigation has been conducted on the present application situation of the scenic woods in Changsha city gardening and first hand information has thus been obtained. The overall layout of scenic woods building in Changsha has been studied and analyzed in a macro point of view and the network scenic structure with integration of "spots and lines" of scenic woods in Changsha has been worked out on an overall basis. And two forms of scenic woods construction have been raised as the newly built and the reformed ones. It has been considered as the main development trend of urban gardening in the future Changsha city that the scenic woods community should be constructed at multi layers with multi colors & varieties for multi functions.Secondly, the author has given a rational consideration to the tree selection and ecological arrangement of scenic woods application in Changsha city gardening from the forest community point of view. The key to ecological arrangement of scenic woods in Changsha city is considered to be the adherence to the principle of proper trees at proper place and biological varieties with the localization of trees to be stressed. From an overall point of view of the city, the scenic woods in Changsha city should be built with the protection of the existing woods coverage as the basis. Following the rule of natural community succession, the evergreen broadleaf trees should be arranged as its main content with proper addition of some deciduous trees so as to build the beautiful view of urban scenic woods with multi-layers,-structures,-functions and varieties. In this way we can fully display the varieties, localization and uniqueness of the trees of the scenic woods.Finally, from a positive analysis point of view with the Xiangjiang River scenic belt as an example, the author has put forward her own ideas on the choice of destination trees and the overall construction of scenic woods, aiming at setting up an example for the use of scenic woods in Changsha city gardening.
