Urban wetland is one of the most important survival environments of human beings in urban ecological system. It not only supplies many kinds of resources for human beings' production and life, but also has the functions such as water resource accumulation, flood and drought control, nutritive substance deposition, region microclimate regulation, species diversity maintenance, etc. At present, global wetland's environments are subjected to a prevalent menace, especially the urban wetland that be threatened severely by people is now confronted with the most serious ecological problems. Therefore, protecting urban wetland is of great urgency and city wetland park is the most important way to protect and exploit urban wetland.With the rapid progress of society, people have been impacted in their mind and body, the spiritual life and consumption style have been changed gradually. There are the inherent great powers to build and develop the wetland park that worshiping the nature and recovering the simple will become the mainstream orientation in people's minds and pursuing leisure outdoors will become the important activity in people's life. Wetland park which possesses the many kinds of ecological functions is the important component of urban park green land. It not only can provide the recreational locations to accommodate residents'demands sufficiently and embody the people-oriented ideology, but also regulate the relationships of various functional regions in city, improve the urban ecological environments. It is the concrete reflection of the scientific concept of development in urban ecological construction.Aims:Through the ecological and environments landscape, the sustainable development of national urban wetland park of west-dongtinghu Qingshanhu was realized. Methods:First the materials including the research area' present situation Analysis and topographic diagram and so on related statistical datas were collected and carried on the scene investigation, Taking the HanShou water conservancy records, the traveling plan, the ecological environment protection plan, HanShou district national economy and social sustainable development summary and so on datas and the country' related laws about the forest resources conservation, the water resource conservation, the wetland protection, the water and soil conservation, the flood prevention, the wild animals and plants protection, the environmental protection as well as the international biodiversity protection pact and so on as the bases. To build the potential environmental landscape analysis and in order to determine the future development of the main objectives of national urban wetland park of west-dongtinghu Qingshanhu. Under the Ecological Aesthetics principle and Landscape Design, the Landscape Ecology and garden botany principle, Biological recovery study and Sustainable Development Science principle, union target localization, takes the ecological suitability analysis as the main methods, function districts were definited. Results:Assessment of cities in West Dongting Lake Wetland Park Castle Peak potential wetland ecosystem services and values:direct use values, including the biological diversity of plant resources to maintain the functional value, the value of water supply and water storage; indirect use values, including flood storage value, scientific tourism value, the value of carbon sequestration oxygen, purify water pollution and degradation values, the value of habitat; option value; non-use values, including tourism and heritage values. Through the garden of the landscape elements (plant landscape, water landscape, coast landscape, road landscape, cultural landscapes, etc.), and ultimately build up a role in science education, eco-tourism features, characteristics of the wetland environment and cultural landscape of urban wetland park.
