Research On Outer Environment Landscape Design For Healthy Housing

Human is now facing the threat of environmental degradation and the healthy residential problem has been a hot point. Healthy housing was presented as an new solution, and has been considered as the future development trend of human residency. It is especially urgent for China, whose housing construction keep on a high growth rate, to carry on research on healthy housing suitable for Chinese situation. The construction of healthy house is based on the integration of its indoor environment and outer environment. However, the domestic research of Healthy housing is mainly focused on the residential building and its inner environment at present. As to the outer environment, the research is still weak. In view of this weak point, this thesis carry on a research focused on the outer environment landscape design for Healthy housing. The main contributions can be summarized as follows:1. On the analysis of the health concept, the connotation of the health idea was better understand, thus an extention of the idea was made. Then the relation of healthy housing with green house, eco- house, and sustainable housing was discussed, it was pointed out that their objectives are same in broad sense and different just in developing period. This is helpful for grasping the ultimate and stage objectives of healthy housing, thus give valuable instruction for outer environment landscape design.2. Through the analysis of "Key Technology Points of Healthy Housing Construction (2004 edition) ", which is the relevant authoritative technical rule in China, the charcteristics of healthy house outer environment was concluded and the weakness of present research was made clear. This thesis also analyses the present situation and existed faults of the outer environment landscape design of residential quarters in China. The above results give important reference for establishing appropriate stage objectives for outer environment landscape drsign.3. Modern landscape planning and design theory, environmental psychology and ecology was adopted as the core to establish·the theory framework. This thesis presents and interprets five principles:human-oriented, environment-symbiotic, intergration, territoriality and recreation. Based on the theoritical basis and five principles established, outer environment landscape design method was introduced in details from macro and micro aspects, i.e. overall planning and discrete landscape element design.4. Case study of two typical experimental residential district of healthy housing project in Changsha. On the basis of investigation, some suggestions are also given for improvement.Healthy housing construction is a large system engineering project, which needs the integration of multi-discipline and the cooperation of multi-aspects. In this thesis, outer environment landscape design method for healthy housing was investigated from several aspects, it may provide some reference for relevant research and practice in future.
