Carbon fiber sheet reinforced concrete structure in recent years by the domestic importance, made a great deal of research, compared with other reinforcement technology, it has a high-strength materials, light-weight, corrosion resistance, such as superior performance in the construction of its operation Fast, the original structure, and other small features, it is reinforced in the area of a large number of applications received. Over the last decade, people with CFRP reinforcement for reinforced concrete structure to carry out a great deal of research, such as the use of CFRP reinforcement beams, columns, plates, such as the structure of the beam-column joints to prove that its promotion of high value and great social Economic benefits. Of course, the carbon fiber reinforcement technology into China in the near future, many still not yet ripe for further in-depth study.This paper taking reinforced concrete columns which are seriously damaged as the research subjects, discusses the Seismic Behaviors of the repaired columns. The concrete of columns in the plastic-hinge zone were replaced with Grout Material and the columns are strengthened with unidirectional CFRP. Then, the experiments were done under low-cyclic and repeated load for the strengthened columns. The cracks development and the deformations of the specimens were observed. The normal section bearing capacity of the columns was analyzed, and the skeleton curves reflecting relationship between loading and displacement were drawn out. The above-mentioned contents were comparable with the performance of the column without pretreatment in order to study the behaviors of capacity and deformability of the repaired and strengthened specimens. By contrasting the experimental values with values which are calculated by the code of GB0367—2006, the repaired and strengthened specimens are safety. Compared with the column without pretreatment under the same condition, the bearing capacity and the hysteretic area of the repaired and strengthened ones increase, and the ductility and energy-absorbing capacity were significantly improved. The Results of experiments and analysis show the behaviors of capacity and deformability of the repaired and strengthened specimens are both remarkably improved. The proposed method of this paper is feasible and reliable.
