As an important direction of railway transport development in our country, high-speed train has a great impact to the country development and the social progress. Traction driver system is an important part of high-speed train, therefore, this paper models and analyzes them of CRH2 and CRH3.Firstly, the circuits and the function of all links of the traction converter of CRH2 and CRH3 are introduced. Then the control strategies of these two different traction converters are derailed researched and explained. The traction converter of CRH2 adopts there-levels technology, which intermediate DC link doesn't have LC filter circuit, and control strategy is indirect rotor magnetic field-oriented vector control; the traction converter of CRH3 adopts two-levels technology, which intermediate DC link has LC filter circuit, and control strategy is direct torque control.After the theoretical analysis of traction converter, the traction driver system of CRH2 and CRH3 are modeled and simulated by Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results of traction driver system of high-speed train at different states indicate that these both different traction driver systems can operate stably at traction, constant speed and braking states, and also switch smoothly between each other. The simulation results and analysis of traction driver system at temporary power-off state indicate the performances of traction converter in power-off condition at different speed, and the impact of traction converter causes by restoring power.Finally, the transforming method from Simulink model to C/C++codes is introduced. Comparing the simulation results and the transforming codes of the traction driver system, the transforming method from Simulink model to C/C++codes are validated.
