For the characteristics and current situation of transport development, combining with computer technology and the outcome of the rapid development of control theory science, by the electronic control gasoline of Santana 3000 produced by Shanghai Volkswagen as research subjects, the paper analyzes the basic components of electronically controlled engines, working principles and fault types and causes. On this basis, firstly, a neural network electronically controlled gasoline engine fault diagnosis system is designed; However, due to the ambiguity of electronic fuel fault, subsequently, introducing the idea of fuzzy logic, and combining fuzzy logic with neural network, a fuzzy neural network fault diagnosis of electronic control system of gasoline is constructed. Thirdly, the complexity and variability of electronic control engine fault, making single-stage neural network structure enormous, and not easy to re-learn the network, causes network training is not efficient, and the diagnostic accuracy of the system is low. Therefore, an improved two-stage neural network approach is proposed, which simplifies the network structure, making it easy to get the right hidden layers and hidden nodes, and it also saves the network's training time. When a new sample appears, pertinently re-training the corresponding sub-network is ok. Experimental results show that the two diagnostic methods do make electronic control engine fault diagnosis is more reasonable and more superior.
