Interface design of indoor space is an important part of interior design, It influences the quality and tastes of indoor space. As the development of modern interior design level, designers have better understandings on indoor space and its designs. Therefore, they pay more and more attention to the design of interface. Recently, the fuzziness of spatial and the boundary has become a trend in the designs of architectures and landscape. Similarly, fuzzy shape also appears in interface of indoor space. Modern interface of indoor space is no longer the old style where surface is surface, wall is wall, and floor is floor. The fuzziness of interface is achieved through all kinds of design methods, including concealed to indoor space. Interface design is no longer for basic functionality but has become a necessary way for decorating of indoor space. It is no longer traditional and simple but personalized. Designers should be able to match the formality of their interface designs with its contents perfectly.The development of technology and society has promoted new ways to interface design of indoor space, new materials for indoor space, and new characteristics of the materials for interior design. In the digital world, traditional interface of indoor space has been replaced by modern interface. It is a new era for interior design. All these changes have a huge impact on the fuzziness of interface design of indoor space.There are five chapters in the paper. I will discuss the research background, literatures, research purposes, methods, and contributions in Chapter One. In Chapter Two, I will introduce the concept of the fuzziness of interface design of indoor space, And points out the appearance of fuzzy surface and the tendency of the fuzzy surface design. Using psychology and theory of conscious, I will study the sensation of the fuzziness of interface design in Chapter Three. Chapter Four will focus on the importance of fuzzy surface design in interior design. I will summarize the variety of modern fuzzy surface design with cases on international and domestic designs. In the last chapter, I will analyze the new ways of fuzzy surface design in the future. From new materials, technologies and non-conventional thinking models will be discussed. This paper introduces "fuzzy mathematics" and "topology" in math to interface design of indoor space. It uses "fuzzy surface" to describe new ways of interface design of indoor space and discusses the possible formality of "fuzzy" in interface of indoor space. It will greatly help designers with their design works. |
