City has now become the people’s life and work an important place, however the city development and progress produced a lot of city problems. The present city facing many urban diseases, there is an urgent need for a creative solution. So, to the city underground space development attention all over the world, the development and utilization of underground space become the realization of city space perpendicular to the primary means of development. City center commercial district development, leading to the ground volume has nearly reached saturation, and for minimizing the ground culture building destruction, protect the historical culture of the city, to the city development and utilization of underground space has become inevitable. Our country in city underground space development and utilization on deficiencies still exist, interior design is not systematic, related system is not perfect enough, leading to slow the development of underground engineering. In some developed countries, city underground space development and utilization of underground space in the interior design of an earlier, more systematic and perfect.This paper discussed the comprehensive utilization of underground space and the transformation of the necessity, feasibility, interior design and Research on indoor design differences, pay attention to solve underground space function area, ventilation, indoor lighting, spatial orientation, fire safety and a series of problems, from the angle of interior design to explore how the city underground public space to create a more comfortable space effect, as well as on underground space interior design, to the greatest degree of weakening the people psychology on the underground space of negative emotion, to improve the indoor environment and the utilization rate of the space of.
