Along with the rapid development of HVDC transmission system, AC/DC mixed transmission a large presence, for AC/DC power system study of transient stability more and more attention. Because of HVDC system with quickly controllable, safe and reliable, and control cost little, the using HVDC transmission system to improve AC/DC power system transient stability has the extremely vital significance.The paper based on Statics Extended Equal Area Criterion (SEEAC) to analyze emergency DC power support for AC/DC system transient stability influence mechanism. Given in this paper consider DC power support control for transient stability calculation method, and based on Matlab platform composing the corresponding simulation program that for example a simulation analysis was carried out. In PSASP power system simulation software for the same example simulation, and comparison with this EEAC algorithm simulation results show that this algorithm can correctness and effectiveness.Emergency DC power support can effectively improve of AC/DC system transient stability. Among them DC power support parameters changes for support strategies have a direct effect. This paper analyzes emergency DC power support parameters for AC/DC system transient stability influence mechanism. Obtained each parameter on transient power-angle stability influence rule, And analyzes parameter changes by the constraints. The simulation results verify the correctness of the mechanism analysis.Because DC power support parameters changes of the constraining conditions, between parameters of coordinated control problem for emergency dc power support the success or failure of the decisive, and control strategies need optimization. This paper gives the control strategy of optimization mathematical model, that including target function and constraints. This paper presents a method of selecting control strategy. The main concept of the method is:within the constraints of control strategy for AC/DC system transient stability is drab effect of changes. The method can greatly reduce computation cost. Thereby greatly reduce the computation time. Finally, Through the example of the simulation analysis verified this paper optimization method is correct and effective.
