People are paying more and more attention to the operation reliability of the mechanical system as the revolution of the industry. The rolling bearing is the common parts of the mechanical equipment and it is also one of those parts that have high fault rate. So it is very important to diagnose the fault of the rolling bearing of the mechanical equipment. This paper is to diagnose the fault of the rolling bearing via the envelope demodulation. Envelope demodulation is gradually developed recently, and its simple, easily realized, and high reliability offers it wide development perspective among the area of fault diagnose.This paper runs actual experimental demonstration based on the theory of envelope demodulation. With the NTN bearing test bed of Beijing Jiaotong University as the experiment platform, using the data acquisition equipment DEWE-211 of DEWETRON Company of Austria to attain the real time data acquisition. The excellent data acquisition performance is the foundation of the success of this experiment. At last, using the data analyzing software PULSE of B&K Company of Denmark to proceed the later data analyzing and process. With all these above, the feasibility of the envelope demodulation is verified.
