Based on the project "The optimization design of DEUTZ engine rubber mount", this paper analyzes and improves the DEUTZ engine rubber mount using the finite element method. This paper includes six chapters:In chapter 1, the development and research methods of the engine mount are introduced, the current situation of the application of finite method to study this engine mount is summarized, it proposes the necessity of applying finite element method. In chapter 2 and 3, the finite element theory and the application method of the software is introduced. Based on this theoretical, the finite element model of the DEUTZ engine rubber mount is established and analyzed. The curve and the regular pattern of static and dynamic stiffness under the different situations are gotten. The result indicates that the curve of static stiffness is approximately linear when the rubber mount is in the permission load. And in the same load effect, the dynamic stiffness of rubber mount increases when the frequency increases. And at the same frequency effect, the dynamic stiffness of rubber mount decreases when the load increases. In chapter 4, the experiment is simply introduced, including experimental conditions and content. Based on the standard A08 CBD-6-2007 and A08 CBD-7-2007, the experiment results and the finite element analysis results are compared. It indicates that the finite element method is valid in analyzing the engine mount. In chapter 5, based on the correct finite element model of the rubber mount and the requirement of the project, the structure improvement of rubber mount is done. Based on the distribution situation of rubber stress, it increases the angle of inner sleeve to decrease the stress and improve the stiffness of rubber mount; Adjust the station of the angle, the result is not good. Similarly, as to the rear mount, the lateral size of the rubber mount is increased by 8mm. In this situation the max stress is reduces. In chapter 6, the research contents and conclusions are summarized, and the future research is prospected. The research significance of this paper:Firstly, due to the complex structure of rubber mount, it is difficult of applying the traditional method to analyze this rubber mount. So applying of finite element method is necessary.Secondly, the process of the applying finite element analysis is correct.Thirdly, by the simulation and analysis of the rubber mount, the curve and regular pattern of the static and dynamic stiffness is concluded. The structure improvement of DEUTZ rubber mount is done using different methods. It provides some guidance for the further research of the sub project.
