Bulky cargos mainly refer to some large mechanical equipments with overweight and oversize, such as power transformer, chemical factory reactors and so on. Whether these cargos can transport to destination safely and quickly not only has a great influence on the development of national economy, but also has a strategic significance on national defense construction. Because of the important role of the large equipments transportation in economy development, so it has important significance to ensure the security of road large equipments transportation, reduce transport costs and arrive at the destination in plan time.In recent years, the scale and theoretical studies of logistics industry in our country have a considerable development. But due to the particularity of large equipments transport, research on large equipments transport has been lagging behind. For safety, economy and convenient of large equipments transport are the three most important aspects, so how to ensure that the cargos arrive at destination with safety, economy, punctual is the key to success. There are lots of factors on the three aspects and this paper mainly studies these problems from the following five aspects.(1) In allusion to the problems of large equipments transport vehicles choice, according to the weight, size parameters and comparing the performance among different vehicles or different plat trailers, we select the most appropriate transport equipment.(2) In allusion to the problems of transportation route choice, the paper first analysis the principles, steps and matters needing attention of route choice detailed, and then, establish mathematical model of the transport route choice with the analytic hierarchy process, and solve the transport route choice of high-end transformer in Nuo Zhadu convertor station.(3) In allusion to the problems of condition level of bridges, according to analyze various affecting factors of the condition level of reinforced concrete bridges and structural strength characteristics thereof, an improved three-layer fuzzy model based on analytic hierarchy process and variable weight synthesizing is proposed to evaluate the comprehensive ratings condition of existing reinforced concrete bridges and an actual bridge uses the synthesis evaluation model and the calculating result proves the stability and effectiveness of the evaluation model.(4) In allusion to the problems of bridge bearing capacity, considering the influence factors of bridge bearing capacity, this paper put forward a discriminant for equivalent load of amendment to judge whether the large cargos transport vehicles can pass through bridges safely, and prove this discriminant method with practical engineering.(5) In allusion to the problems of bridge reinforcement method, according to the structure form and damaged situation of bridge and girders, this paper puts forward feasible reinforcement methods, and then, choose the optimizing reinforcement method through comparison of reinforcement effect, economy, construction time, etc.Research results of this topic will put forward some new methods to questions encountering in large equipments transport, including optimizing transport routes, providing a method to judge bridge duality and bearing capacity accurately and quickly, which will be provide basis for reasonable reinforcement measures for bridges with insufficient bearing capacity, shorten transport time, accelerate transport speed. We are glad to contribute our efforts to large equipments transport development in our county.
