| The objective of this study is matching between the hydraulic power steering system and vehicle. Analyse the vehicle parameters which impact the vehicle steering characteristics through the analysis of vehicle dynamics. Then take advantage of the characteristics hydraulic pump and control valves of hydraulic power steering system. At last, match the three, to ensure the steering wheel torque meeting the steering it to meet the light of the shift, while the sensitivity to meet the Steering portability and steering sensitivity. In this paper, CATIA, LMS Virtual.Lab Motion, AMESim and other software are used. At first, model the hydraulic power steering system and vehicle. Then, three-dimensional vehicle dynamics analysis and one-dimensional hydraulic power steering system analysis are carried out. At the same time, matching calculation is take place between the hydraulic pump and control valve of hydraulic power steering system. Finally, the optimization results are inputted to the model for co-simulation. Torque characteristic is analyzed in different speed of steering wheel, which can guide to match between hydraulic power steering system and vehicle.The paper introduces the background of development and application of hydraulic power steering system home and abroad, the advantages and disadvantages of hydraulic power steering system, the development tendency of hydraulic power steering system. The paper also presents the basic operation principle and component elements of hydraulic power steering system.In order to solve the problem machine-fluid coupling, hydraulic system used in AMESim for one-dimensional modeling, and mechanical system used in Virtual.Lab Motion for three-dimensional modeling. And then co-simulation is take place between them.Analysis the steering characteristics of target model to determine the vehicle parameters which affect the steering wheel. And determine the torque characteristics of the steering wheel when it is steering. Combining the characteristics of the hydraulic pump and control valve, matching is carried out in maximum flow of the hydraulic pump, displacement of the hydraulic pump and high-speed flow reduction. At last, determine the characteristic parameters of the control valve.In the end, input the optimization results into the model for the simulation of the handling and stability. |
