| Aqueduct is a structure that crosses railways, highways, rivers, valleys, and other important facilities. Except for water conveyance, it also can drain water. It is one of the most commonly used crossing structures in irrigation engineering. Usually, it's the controlling building of canal. In China, hill area distributes very widely, and water distribution is extremely nonuniform. So we need to undertake cross-regional water resource dispatching to meet the requirements. If you want to dispatch water resources, it is necessary to build a lot of aqueducts. Code for design of aqueducts has not been drawn up yet. So we have to refer to code of building structures to design aqueducts. But at present, the wind resistant problem of aqueducts has not been taken enough attention.A lot of domestic and foreign literatures about fluid-structure coupling affection of aqueduct structures and wind load made failure mechanism of the aqueduct was summarized in this thesis. Besides, it refers to comparatively mature research results of wind resistance of bridge. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1.No matter from theory analysis and the actual wind destroying cases that happened before, aqueducts are always destroyed from vertical direction. This thesis focuses on the research of the wind-induced responses of aqueduct by wind load. First the downwind wind load is simulated, and the major domestic and foreign wind load simulation methods are pointed out. Then a simple and suitable method is selected to simulate the wind load.2.For large aqueduct, water weight inside it is generally larger than aqueduct, which can make the particularity of the aqueduct structures. The water in aqueduct under wind load can produce complex coupling effect. When we consider the wind-induced responses of aqueduct, this effect cannot be ignored generally. Therefore, additional quality method to simulate the water was used in this thesis, and it compares wind-induced vibration responses with the simulation that has not considered fluid-solid coupling.3.According to the newest theories and fluid-solid coupling theory of aqueducts, combining aqueduct's own characteristics and the finite element theory, using ANSYS software, the modeling of aqueduct is built. And the calculation and analysis of the model under downwind wind load have been done. |
