For a long time, the neutral-point of 6kV high voltage distribution network are usually non-grounding in Yima Coal Industry Group. With the continuous development of Yima Coal Industry Group, the scale of high voltage distribution network has gradually become larger, and more and more cables instead the trolley wires. Lead to the high voltage distribution network capacitive current of Yima Coal Industry Group is increasing. Single-phase ground fault of arc light over voltage is often occurred. It is easy to develop into phase short circuit or the multi-point repeat grounding failure by the arc light over voltage. In order to ensure the security of electricity supply and reliability. So it is necessary to study the structure of distribution network and the neutral grounding of Yima Coal Industry Group. This paper found the problems of high voltage distribution network of Yima Coal Industry Group by research and understood the distribution network of capacitive current distribution by measure. This paper determined the distribution network needs to adopt neutral-point by the arc suppression coil grounding. Considering the single-phase ground current is very small and interference effects seriously, single-phase grounding fault line selection in power distribution network security research is emphasis. The paper analyzes and compares the small current grounding fault line selection in a variety of line selection criterion of advantages and disadvantages, and put forward a reasonable method on the different situations of ground fault.
