Wear and tear can cause failure of mechanical transmission system and reduce the working life of Wind turbine, and Oil detection is the primary method of judging the state of wear. Currently, to the long detection cycle for the domestic oil, high costs, determination of complex, manual processing of data and information status, Comparing the current ways and means of oil monitoring, through the study to the Cause of pollution by oil and abrasive on-line monitoring of the principle, the Oil Monitoring System overall design was finished, and the working principle of this on-line monitoring Oil and grit system was demonstrated. In this paper, an on-line oil monitoring system was designed based on Virtual instrumentsThere are two parts in The on-line oil monitoring system, the hardware and the soft ware. The hard ware was designed based on MetalSCAN Debris Monitoring Sensor. The principle of this sensor was deeply analyzed first, and then the corresponding Signal conditioning modules and data acquisition module were confirmed. The software was designed based on Labview. For the specified monitoring parameter, the corresponding monitoring methods were deeply analyzed. With this method, corresponding amplitude, phase, counts, and data I/O module etc were developed and tested. At last, the whole Man-machine interface for this system was finished, and the results were displayed in multiple ways, at the same time the data I/O and view function can be used.According to the parameter characteristics of oil monitoring system, The principle and the use in Ratings of projection pursuit was deeply studied. Associated with the parameter characteristics, the Ratings results was got. And Associated with real examples, the feasibility of this method was proved.
