With the construction of smart grid and the big regional power grid, the grid construction has come to a new stage, a large mount of electrical equipment has been invested in the grid, all these changes make the operation of Power Grid more complex, and make the analysis and the control of Power Grid more difficult. Grid Maintenance is a very important part of the operation of power system, it is directly related to electricity sector and the interests of the users, and also has a significant impact to the reliability and economy of power grid. As a result, the reliability and cfficiency of maintenance plan has a important practical significance.Electical companis has to ensure high reliability of power grid operation, while in the pursuit of greater economic benefits. The artifical method of make maintenance schedule would spend more resources,materially and financially, and even exist problems of excessive maintenance. Therefore, optimize the maintenance strategy,saving resource consumption of equipment maintenance,has become the urgent need for the process of building a strong power grid to solve the problems.As the basis of the approach of maintenance scheduling based on multi-constrained, the characteristics of power grid maintenance and preparation of maintenance requirements has been analyzed in this paper. The approach will change artificial maintenance scheduling into the automatical way, to ensure the implementation of the schdule,and the reliability of power grid. The method of maintenance scheduling based on multi-constraints has greatly increased the feasibility of improving the level of security and statbility of the grid. This method can get data of network automatically,and make the maintenance schedule. The particle swarm optimization algorithm has been used to make maintenance plan, and promote the efficiency of the maintenance schedule. The example of maintenance schdule in Lanzhou has been proposed in this paper, to verify the correctness and validity of this method.
