Study On The Modern Colonial Period Related Banking In Dalian

Dalian, which is one of the important cities in china's mordent history process, is the central of diplomacy,trade and financial in Far East at that time. During the time of military occupation by Russian and Japan, people of Dalian were caused great sadness of it. However, this event also brought advanced science technology and culture to this city, and made the role of economic central of Dalian more outstanding in Northeast China Region. Under this economic background, the development of banking was rapidly, and reaches a considerable scale. All of these promote the development of bank buildings which have sufficient architectural traits in this city.Author consulted a large number of historical documents and research information, then analyzed, classified and studied these materials. On this foundation, author outlined a historical track of rise and development of Dalian's modern banking. At the same time, author major described the distributive characteristics and current situation of modern Dalian's bank buildings and want to make people to understand the historical background and evolution of it.After that, the paper major analyzed the building type systems and artistic style of modern time's bank buildings in Dalian. Meanwhile, author also brief introduced the historical background of banks which were exist in history in Dalian, strived to elaborated and analyzed the features of the bank buildings, such as function structure,plane layout,holistic style,modeling disposal,detailed decoration, building structure. In this thesis, author compared modern bank buildings in Dalian to Shanghai,Tianjin and other port cities'one side; and also put the traits of Dalian's modern bank buildings compared with world buildings on the other side. The article from the angle of architectural design, to dissect the similarities and differences of Dalian and other cities'bank buildings multi-complicated to make the research contents abundant.Finally, this paper summarized the achievements of research and analysis, and deep-seated the connotation and values under this phenomenon of architectures. Then the author want to found some achievements which can be used in architectural creation and academic research. Eventually reach to the modern architectural culture inheriting and carrying forward the purpose.
