| Plate-fin heat exchangers in the industrial field are widely used, especially in power machineries and equipments.Providing an appropriate working condition for the latter, Plate-fin heat exchangers have been playing an important role.With the increasingly stringent requirements of compact and miniaturization, the plate-fin heat exchangers of highly effective heat transfer surface are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, optimization method of the plate-fin heat exchanger will be proposed by the urgent requirements. However, the heat transfer process of the plate-fin heat exchanger is very complicated, it is rather difficult to get the formula of the heat transfer in it.This paper foucs on the research of performance of plate-fin heat exchanger and analyse the pressure drop characteristics and heat transfer performance based on the experimental data.The main work done in this thesis is as followed:1. Make sure the experimental plan based on the existing experiment instrument comparing with the relevant experimental cases;2. Develop and adjust the experiment instruments and equiments used for experiment and research of performance on heat and mass transfer of plate-fin heat exchanger to improve the accuracy of various sensors and measuring instruments in order to fullfill the higher requirements of this work;3. In this work, a special software based on the Benchlink software is developed to collect the experiment data through the data collector(Agilent 34970A) which can display the real-time operation conditions and data in the whole system picture, then provide an effective assessment and evaluate through compuation and analysis of experiment data collected by software rapidly;4. Debug the systerm and obtain information of the criterion equations of Nu and Re parameters, Eu and Re parameters and heat transfer coeffient, graph of pressure drop, velocity of the oil, expecially the performance of heat transfer and pressure drop of the plate-pin heat exchangers. |
