The Study On Mobile Power Station With Flywheel Energy Storage System

Flywheel energy storage battery is a high density with a new type of mechanical energy storage device, mobile power station diesel generator is composed of a small group of independent power generation system. The flywheel battery is used to the mobile station for continuous power supply, once the commercial power or other independent power supply is outage or failure, the flywheel battery will provide uninterrupted power supply during the switch to the commercial power and the diesel generator sets, ensuring the power supply system is continuous and maintaining the performance and parameters of the power supply which will not influence or discontinuous change because of commercial power failure. Simulation results show that the flywheel battery used to the mobile station can effectively improve the performance of the mobile power station system.The energy of the flywheel battery is analyzed to ensure that the mains switch to diesel generators when the flywheel battery for uninterrupted power supply load. While the three-phase digital lock technology into an uninterruptible power supply circuit, to ensure that the two power switching power supply without the continuous phase, so the load can be work reliably.Based on the theoretical analysis, we use the company's DSP chip Microchip processor, designed a mobile power station with a flywheel energy storage system, and gives details of the implementation of the digital lock approach. Finally, based on Matlab/Simulink simulation tool and dsPIC30F3011 core hardware platform, then do the simulation and experiment. Simulation and experimental results show that the flywheel uninterruptible power supply batteries has a high practical value as power supply to improve the performance of mobile power station.
