The Study On Suburban Livable Community Planning--comments On Our Suburban Residential Area Planning

In recent years, the phenomenon of urban suburbanization is increasingly obvious along with the economic and social development and the improvement of people's living standard. Suburban residential area has become an important living form. And now in the suburbs, many new residential areas planning failed to get rid of the self-sufficient and closed planning mode under the influence of functional partition. Closed residential areas in suburban housing development increased isolation to residential area and the city. The problems of traffic congestion, resource and environmental damage and others have appeared, These problems make people start thinking about the relationship between residential areas and the city. As well as how to solve these problems to make residential area more suitable for living and better inherit regional culture. It is in this context, with the suburban residential area as the research object, the paper explores the way of suburban residential area planning suitable for China.The first part of the paper is the introduction. Briefly puts forward the problem, and analyzes the research significance, purpose, content, methods and ideas of the paper. The second part briefly reviews the related theories and practices of livable community planning in foreign and domestic, understands the new dynamic of foreign livable community theory, and evaluates theoretical and practical situation of current livable community planning in our country. The third part is a study of suburban residential area planning status in China. Based on the current situation of suburban residential area planning and construction, this part reviews the spatial relations between residential area and city in history, summarizes some problems appeared in the process of the development of modern suburban residential area. According to relations and problems between modern suburban housing and urban development, the fourth part comes up with suburban residential area planning should turn to community planning, and constructs the suburban livable community planning theory system through the research. Based on the study of the theory, combining theory with practice, the fifth part discusses implementation strategies to suburban livable community planning take the community planning of Sangong village, Zhangye city for example. In short, based on the analysis of the current situation of suburban residential area planning and construction, the paper discusses the transformation from residential area planning to community planning and the theory of suburban livable community planning, puts forward the strategy to suburban livable community planning, for providing reference to livable community construction.
