In recent years, The steel frame-reinforced concrete core wall which is a typically composite structure has been applied in multi-storey and high-rise apartment for its seismic behavior, short limit of a project, huge lateral stiffness and low cost. Due to the increasingly serious energy shortage, the research of energy conservation has been treasured. The engineering application of steel frame-reinforced concrete core wall was under under restrictions for the limited energy-saving standard reference. Consequently, this analysis of energy-saving and economic of the composite structure of steel frame-concrete core wall residential building could offer technological reference, fill up the energy-saving study of this type of structure. Beside, this study is the foundation of engineering practice with great theoretical meaning and practical engineering value.In order to discuss the energy consumption characteristic and calculate the heat loss of this composite structure in shandong region, the research status of steel-concrete composite structure was learned through summarizing a large number of correlational research literature. Based on that, the boundedness along with the merit and demerit of this study results presented before was analyzed and the theoretic method along with research approach were proposed: to select typical steel frame-reinforced concrete core wall composite structure and conduct energy-saving detecting based on the comprehensive survy of typical steel frame-reinforced concrete core wall residential building in shandong. The acquisition of experimental data can be carried out using the infrared thermal image instrument and heat comfort instrument under the guide of heat-flow meter method.The energy consumption index shall be calculated in a reasonable method under the analysis of the test data. Finally, discuss energy consumption influence factors and judge main heat loss position by comparing the test result and norm value. The analytical results indicate that the building evelope of a typical composite possess significant heat storage capacity and maintain a constant heat stability, but the heat channal effect exist in the steel beam and column as well as external windows. The test building can only meet saving rate 50%, dissatisfy saving rate 65% according to"design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings"by calculating the heat consumption of envelope enclosure. The large proportion of heat consumption was lossed from outer wall and extenal windows, so new type and new materials shall be used to improve effect of building envelope.The appropriate design proposals has been drawn up together with the scheme of energy-saving reformation of envelope enclosure in former buildings based on the combination of tast data and climate characteristic of shandong region. The result of energy-lossing calculation of new scheme and transform scheme is that: the building envelope using new energy-saving scheme can meet the energy saving rate 65%.By upper structure cost comparisons of the composite structure, platetructure,pure steel structure,it shows that the composite structure is the best combined revenues structure type.It provides reference and foundation of development of steel frame-concrete core residential system in Shandong.In the end,the economy of steel frame-concrete core residential building envelope with using energy-saving technologies is researched.The study shows that construction cost will rise,if using building envelope energy-saving technologies,but the corresponding investment will be recovered by energy-saving in the course of building operation.And its investment reclaiming time is correspondingly shorter,to be able to reflected a favorable economy benefit.
