Large-scale development and utilization of wind power, the challenges facing the main source of electrical power is system of wind power systems interconnection of requirements, and these controls is closely related to power electronics converter technology. The AC-DC-AC PWM converter is adopted by the existing most Double-fed Induction Generator (DFIG). But because of the volatility of the DC bus voltage, if improve capacitance capacity to stabilize DC bus voltage, making this type of wind unit produce larger, bulky and performance not reliable and inherent defect.In this paper Matrix Converter (MC) used in the system, work on the principle of on middle of capacitance matrix converter DC bus are described, emphasis on space vector modulation in the indirect space vector modulation are given detailed. And used Matlab7.8/Simulink software, the virtual rectifier and virtual inverter model are built. Through the simulation analysis verify the indirect space vector modulation strategy is correct. The MC can be applied in DFIG systems.Using coordinate transformation technology, strong coupling, nonlinear and higher-order generator simplified mathematical model. Presented by the Queen's University with constant switching frequency direct power control strategy. In Matlab7.8/Simulink, build DFIG based on the MC constant switching frequency direct power control strategy simulation model. Through the simulation result analysis, this control strategy can implement active power and reactive power independent control. The control strategy compared with based on the stator flux vector control technology to achieve active power and reactive power decoupling control, it is characterized by simple structure, without PI control link, less affected by the motor parameters and the harmonic content is small and so on. Promote industrialization of localization of wind power in China has a positive meaning.
