In the field of wind power, Variable-Speed Constant-Frequency (VSCF) power generation system has obvious advantages and broad application prospects. In the double-fed VSCF wind power generation system, the rotor-side power wind turbine power converter of Double-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is the key to achieve maximum wind tracking of wind turbine, to control output of active and reactive power decoupling, the key to improving the efficiency of wind turbines, and to improve the efficiency of the wind turbine. Matrix Converter (MC) is a new kind of the frequency conversion device of topology structure, which not only has the advantages of adjustable factor input power, adjustable output voltage, less output current harmonic and four quadrant operation, but also has compact structure and lower system cost. Compared with the traditional cross-straight-to pay converter, it decreases the volume and improves the dynamic response to be without intermediate DC link and corresponding storage capacitor. In view of the above advantages, the Two-Stage AC-AC Matrix Converter (TSMC) will be taken as the power excitation converter of doubly-fed wind power generation system in this paper. To begin with, the basic principle of variable speed constant frequency system is introduced, and the DFIG mathematical model is deduced in this paper. The virtual equivalent circuit matrix converter on the topology of the rotor side AC excitation power is made, each of modulation methods of the direct method, the instantaneous voltage method and the space vector modulation method are introduced in this paper.By comparison, the indirectly instantaneous voltage method to modulate the space vector of each switch is determined to take.Besides, based on the excitation of TSMC the control strategy of doubly-fed wind power generation system is studied in this paper. Firstly, based on the excitation of TSMC a control strategy of doubly-fed wind power generation system is proposed on the principle of vector control. The system includes power outer, inner double-loop current control structure. The stator power system regulates the active and reactive power respectively, and adopts the maximum wind tracking control strategy to realize maximize utilization of wind energy under different wind speed. Finally, the simulation software of MATLAB/SIMULINK is used in this paper, to set up the simulation model of the whole system, and to analyze the results of experimental simulation. Simulation results shows that the system of the variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed wind power generation which based on TMLC has favorable stability and dynamic running characteristic. The output not only regulate the active and reactive power respectively, but also provide the high-quality electricity. Finally the paper verified the accuracy and effectiveness of the control system scheme. On this basis, the TMS320F28335and EMP9320LC84-15are used as the control chips, and the integrated control system of main power circuit, sampling circuit, drive circuit, overvoltage absorbing circuit, etc is designed in this paper.
