Extradosed cable-stayed bridge is the bridge of the mechanic characteristic lies between continuous beam bridge and the general cable-stayed bridge. People take the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge more and more attention, because it has good adaptability on the restraint of the mountainous terrain and route requirements. This text analyzed the mechanical properties and structural system of the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge, which based on extradosed cable-stayed bridge, which rapid development the current. This text tried to solve common problems about curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge in the design process, and propose the design ideas.1. This article described simply about the origin and state of development of the straight and curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge first, and counted the constitution, structural style, etc. of construction works instance in the investigation for a more detailed. This article investigated present situation of development and research of structural system and structural performance for a more detailed. This article proposed the necessity of evolving the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge, and proposed the main study content about its structural system and structural performance.2. In order to study some of the characteristics of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, this article comparative analysised the characteristic of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, continuous beam bridge and the general cable-stayed bridge, and summarized possible structural system of extradosed cable-stayed bridge and the characteristics about all kinds of structural systems of the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge. What's more, this article analysised static characteristics about two kinds of possible structural systems of the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge with single box three rooms beam and single cable plane.3. On structural performance parameters, this text summarized and generalized legitimately the ratio of side span and midspan about the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge, analysised the relationship of tower height and the stiffness of the main beam of extradosed cable-stayed bridge. This text summarized appropriate height of tower of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, and contrasted to regulations in Japanese standard. In addition, this text analysised characteristics of extradosed cable-stayed bridge with tall tower, and analysised structure stressing influence with tower height change of the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge with single box three rooms beam and single cable plane.Through the cable-stayed bridge has been built by some of the statistics and compare with the Japanese norms, this text analysised suitable height of main beam of the curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge. Through investigation, this text analysised suitable degree of beam bottom curve of curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge, which have variable cross-section beam.4. The static and dynamic characteristics of curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge were compared with straight bridge. Geometric nonlinear and structural characteristics of stability were selective analysis on static analysis aspects. On dynamic analysis aspects, this text analysised the characteristics of vibration characteristics in the changes of structure curvature radius, and analysised the characteristics of vibration characteristics with different structural system, that selective analysised the characteristics of vibration characteristics about wind and seismic resistance concerned aspects.5. According to the results of this study, the design of the process of curve extradosed cable-stayed bridge was concluded. And the note of its design process was proposed, the design process flow chart was drawed.
