Study On Long-term Performance Of Asphalt Pavement

As China's highway network construction is becoming more perfect, the highway has become China's road transport network in the aorta, and it takes a large volume of traffic transportation, so highway pavement is required to have a good long term performance.Trunk road network has been completed in many developed countries, but many roads do not meet the design life and show significant structural damage or a decreased level of service,so a lot of money was used to reforme or rebuild them.These issues have also been frequent in China and limit the service effect of them in society and economy. Carrying out Long Term Pavement Performance Program will help promote pavement technology and scientific management methods for the strategic development of the highway and provide technical support and increase economic investment and social benefits.In this paper, the object is the opportunity and frequency of the data collection in Long Term Pavement Performance Program. According to the data variation with time, to determine the opportunity and frequency is based on the most unfavorable season and the minimum sample number which are seen as the main principles of collection of each data..
