As one of the most important gasoline engine management system actuators, the control effect of electric throttle body has a direct impact on vehicle power, economy, safety, comfort and stability. In order to develop an independent intellectual property rights of gasoline electronic throttle control system, the paper has studied comprehensively and deeply about control system design and control method research for the gasoline electronic throttle. The paper is targeted at controlling the throttle valve opening rapidly and precisely, which is based on scanning a large number of relevant literature and referring to similar foreign products.The paper is objected at the German Bosch company DV-E8.3 electronic throttle body. Basing on analyzing the physical structure, working principle and merits of the throttle body, the paper separately established the mathematic model about driver motor, return spring, reduction gear group and friction and gave the whole electronic throttle mathematical model, meanwhile the paper identified the related parameters.The paper analyzed the composition and working principle of the electronic throttle control system. According to the demand of its functions and performance, the paper set up the system framework, which used 32-bit SPC563m as the main chip and L9958 H-bridge as the motor driver chip. What's more, the paper designed the controlling strategy about the Feed-forward and Fuzzy Adaptive PID controlling of electric throttle, which is based on studying and designing a variety of electronic throttle control strategy and considering its advantages as well as disadvantages.The paper separately designed the hardware circuit of function modules about system power supply, microcontroller, motor drive, position acquisition of the throttle valve position sensor and communication of electronic throttle control unit using the modular idea. In addition, the paper designed the software of the electronic throttle control system, which combines the main program with interrupt program. After that, the paper established the electronic throttle experimental platform based on the hardware and software designing and made verification experiments about calibration and control performance.The paper made step response and tracing experiments about electronic throttle under the static environment. The results show that the responses time of the designed electronic throttle controlling system is less than 300ms, the stable time is less than 300ms, the steady-state error is less than 1% and the accurate degree is up to 0.1%. The paper meets the expected performance items, which is valuable, although there is little overshoot sometimes. The academic results lay a solid foundation for future further study under dynamic environment and application in real cars.
