With urban traffic study area continues to expand, the traffic flow simulation is moving to the direction of large-scale network simulation, large-scale direction of traffic flow, which brought great efficiency requirements. Most of the existing microscopic traffic simulation system uses serial computing technology, can not meet the needs of large-scale traffic network simulation. Today, multi-core processors computers begin to spread, Multi-core parallel software development has become the research focus of computer technology. This paper will focus on research and application of multi-core parallel simulation technology to improve the efficiency of transport, within a reasonable time to simulate large-scale traffic network. This paper absorbs both home and abroad mixed traffic flow simulation models, according to the practical needs of mixed traffic simulation flow in Chinese big city, analysis and object-oriented modeling the motor vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians mixed traffic flow Simulation behavior. After comparing some of the more typical parallel traffic simulation system realization method, combined with the current multi-core parallel computing of the latest technology, innovatively propose mixed traffic flow simulation software development frameworks, then, design and implement multi-core parallel INSSIM mixed traffic flow simulation system, and multi-core parallel microscopic traffic flow simulation mixed key algorithm. Lastly, the evaluation of the parallel benefit analysis confirmed the simulation system greatly reduces the computation time and improve efficiency use of computer processors.
