Motor vehicles, pedestrians and non-motor vehicle at a high degree of mixing is an important feature of urban road traffic In China, which bring about interference was one of the main reason of urban traffic congestion. Reduced interference and enhanced coordination between different transport modes were the very important current problems to be solved for the transportation. Based on the case, this paper Combine with the National Science Foundation Project'Research on levels of Pedestrian service at the signalized control intersections'Presided by my tutor, starts at the optimization Control scheme of intersection signal, considered coordinating the right of way to pedestrians and motor vehicles, fairness to maximize capacity and reduce delay under the premise of pedestrian safety protection and the rights of way. This paper will focus on the problem that how to reasonable distribute various transportation right of way under mixed traffic environment, connected the push-button crosswalk with intersection on secondary roads as a system, which was the main research object, studies are as follows:1. Analysis the needs of crossing pedestrian on Push-button crosswalkFielded survey the push-button pedestrian crossing on atypical section, detailed analysis the demand for pedestrian crossing in each investigation points from the angle of different sites nature and different times, and research the application of push-button signal control conditions through data analysis.2. Road travel time model of considering pedestrians. After analysis and summary the pedestrian crossing characteristics and the road vehicle flow operating characteristics, especially how push-button signal controlled pedestrian crossing pedestrian crossing behavior influences the road vehicle flow and the downstream intersection signal timing, then based on the results of the analysis of survey data to establish the vehicle delay model at crosswalk, and establish the road travel time model which consider pedestrians.3. Established coordination control optimization model considered pedestrians of the sub-arterial roadEstablished an arterial road coordinate control model under mixed traffic environment model, which considering the time efficiency of roads and pedestrian crossing safety. To the high Requirements of crossing the street, consider taking the push-button pedestrian Crosswalk and the upstream and downstream intersection signal into coordination. Then establish control of multi-objective optimization model to achieve pedestrian Traffic and motor vehicle traffic operation coordination. the results shows that, In ensuring the premise that meet the pedestrians safety and the need of crossing the street, coordinated control model can reduce vehicle delays and road travel time and intersection capacity also improved.
