With the development of the domestic economic, there are many mega projects emerging. The mega projects are complex and important for citizen livelihood. Besides, the costs of these projects normally are beyond hundred millions RMB. Once an accident occurred, the loss is unaffordable. In the paper, the history and present condition of risk control is introduced firstly. Next, the theories and methods of risk control are discussed. Finally Humaling Railway Tunnel is taken for example to show how to do the risk control. The risk control is done in the sequence:the risk identification, the risk estimation, the risk assessment, and the risk control. We found nine hazard factors in Humaling Railway Tunnel after finishing the risk identification. According to the result, we established risk structural drawing. Then, using Analytic Hierarchy Process, we calculated the weighting of every hazard factor. Based on the pecuniary loss expectation, we worked out the Pareto chart. The dominating hazard factors, the secondary ones and normal ones are made certain. Finally, we give advice on the risk treatment. In addition, by VB Langue, the dynamic database program was finished.
