Accidents have been frequent happened in tunnel construction,not only led to severe economic losses and casualties,but also has a very bad influence on society,causing extensive concerns of people on the safety situation of tunnel construction.Because of the many unknown factors of security risks during the construction procedure,the complexity in the construction process and the long construction cycle,it is extremely important to control the risks of tunnel construction.This paper did the following research about the HuMaLing tunnel construction under complex geological conditions:(1)Combining the actual project based on the tunnel construction project,with the scene of the construction conditions,the geological survey report,construction drawings and construction organization design,the risks in the process of HuMaLing tunnel construction were identified typical risks were selected and evaluated based upon the project requirements.(2)Different rich water weak sandstone tunnel excavation ways were compared by numerical simulations,while the tunnel section design and high construction scheme is optimized.(3)In order to further ensure the safety of tunnel construction,the integration measures of risk control of construction were studied.The deformation control technique against the collapse of tunnels in water silty sand stratum and the quality and risk control measures of tunnels in this kind of stratum were put forward.
