Track irregularity is the source which is causing vehicle and track vibration and damage. Presently, Track irregularity is mainly acquired from Track Geometry Inspection Car. Because of the difference between Track Geometry Inspection Car and ordinary train in speed, Axle-load, hang system and so on, Track dynamic irregularities acquired from Track Geometry Inspection Car can't reflect the real condition when ordinary train come by. So they can't ensure the security of those trains. According to national natural science fund project which is called "study on the evaluative theory of safety status in high-speed railway line and the key algorithm, this thesis presents the algorithm which is used to estimation of track irregularity based on vehicle-track coupling model. It will provide a basis for evaluating the security and comfort of a train.Firstly, this thesis uses vehicle-track vertical coupling model, choose least square criterion for guiding genetic algorithm to estimate track static irregularity in order to minimize the residual square sum between theoretical outputs of the model which are computed by Newmark predictor-corrector integration and the measured value such as displacement, speed, acceleration, track dynamic irregularity from the Track Geometry Inspection Car. Secondly, based on estimation of track static irregularity, this thesis chooses unscented kalman filter and combines with the measured value such as displacement, speed, acceleration of vehicle system in order to estimate vehicle and track response when the vehicle passes throngh the same track and get the track dynamic irregularity.The simulation results show that the estimation of track static irregularity, displacement, acceleration in vehicle-track system can perfectly follow the truth value and it implements the estimation of truth status in a line when different train passes throngh the same track.
