Automobile, known as "the machine that changed the world", brings great facility of human life and production. Yet nowadays, its increasingly energy consumption and pollutant emission (auto energy consumption accounted for more than half of the world's oil, which is also the main source of greenhouse gas) has restrict its development. In order to deal with the crisis, to design a low energy consumption and emission vehicle becomes the main direction of automobile research.Automobile is essentially a small, portable energy conversion device, which restricts the usage of the widely used low grade energy such as solar energy, wind energy, waste heat because of the inefficient and huge switching device. However, the development of semiconductor technology makes it possible to apply the technology to cars. For example, those small sized thermoelectric modules and photovoltaic cells have high conversion efficiency. In this paper, the multiple vehicle power supply system based on low grade energy is propose creatively, and a mild hybrid system based on thermoelectric generation and solar photovoltaic power generation is created.This paper has researched the theory, structure and output characteristics of semiconductor thermoelectric module and photovoltaic cells in details, then adjusted and simplified the model according to the theory of thermoelectric generation, solar power generation and project application. Then established the general simulation model under MATLAB/Simulink environment and mild hybrid system model under Cruise, Finally, connect the sub-model and the car model through the MATLAB API interface under Cruise, define different riding condition and expansion condition for joint simulation, analysis system's components working condition and vehicle performance, then validate performance improvement through the contrast with the original mild hybrid system.This paper integrates experiment mensuration and simulation method, as well as combination with semiconductor energy conversion mechanism and the existing hybrid car technology, use MATLAB/Simulink and Cruise joint simulation method, puts forward a feasible scheme of system integration, analysis and tests its performance performed The result shows that the new hybrid system performance improvement is effective which is of great development potential.Meanwhile, in the process of building simulation model, the model's universal, sexual, portability has been fully considered. In addition to completing the simulation analysis work, this model has an outside interface for further improvement and other application. Therefore, the simulation platform established in this paper is prepared for future research on the application of thermoelectric generation and solar heat generation in vehicles.
