With the rapid development of today's automotive industry, vehicle automatic transmission technology has become an important indicator of the level of national auto industry development. Because of Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) having the advantages of high transmission efficiency and good production inherited, also DCT overcomes the AMT Shifting power disruptions, achieve the power shift, which effectively increases shift quality, improved vehicle dynamics, fuel economy and comfortability.View of the rich resources of our national transmission equipment, we can improve the traditional manual transmission to achieve DCT-volume production, the application prospect is very broad. Therefore, the research and development of dual-clutch transmission technology, has become an important way to achieve leapfrog development of our automatic transmission technology, which has great practical significance.In this paper, using two typical DCT structure of the program as examples, introduced the working principle of the DCT, analyzed and compared the different DCT structure and composition, and discussed the torque characteristic of the dynamic in detail on the basis of wet clutch transmission, established the wet DCT dynamic model, engine dynamic model and vehicle load model and so on. Proposed the index of vehicle starting, shifting quality.Analyzed the starting dynamic process of the wet DCT, established dynamic model of the clutch starting process, discussed the initial factors of quality and corresponded clutch control strategy. View of the complex, multi-parameter characteristics of starting process, used fuzzy control theory, and base on the experience of skilled drivers, developed the hydraulic clutch fuzzy controller of the starting process and the engine speed adjusting fuzzy controller, and on the basis established vehicle model of starting process, then,used MATLAB/simulink simulated and anasyzed the vihicle starting process under slow-start, normal-start and rapid-start three typical working conditions. Simulation results show that the fuzzy controller can meet the DCT ride start and the clutch using life requirements.Analyzed the shifting dynamic process of the wet DCT in detail, designed an reasonable control strategies of double-clutch shifting and engaging on shifting process,described the develop methods of three shifting conditions from simple to complex,accessed speed and throttle as input parameters, combined with Santana 2000 engine test data and vehicle parameters, developed the best dynamic shifting schedule and the best economy shifting schedule; established vehicle model of shifting process,and using I gear to II gear as an example ,simulated the shifting process, simulation results show that the developed DCT shift control strategy can achieve power shift and meet the vehicle dynamics, fuel economy requirements.
