These trends are a strong impetus to the rapid development of international cargo transportation, so that a rapid worldwide increase in freight, container freight transport as an international one of the main mode of transport is also showing a good momentum for development. With the variety of technical updates and progress, people have higher requirements of container transport quality.Container transport is a major change in the way of freight, is the preferred way to transport bulk goods, also currently the highest degree of standardization as a means of transport. In order to meet international trade requirements for various types of container transportation, government, enterprises, universities and research institutes are all attached great importance to the container transport, the parties involved have different forms to various types of container transportation technology research and applications. First, from the GPS, bar code technology, radio frequency identification technology to track several major technical and theoretical basis of container transportation and the current practical application of the technology, on all kinds of goods tracking system of its own technology from the system interface characteristics.System construction cost and investment required to solve the problem of tracking multiple aspects of the comparative effectiveness analysis, the transportation of container tracking and realization of the importance of the method. With container transport its own characteristics and problems, analysis of radio frequency identification tracking system in the effects of container transport, and study RFID positioning algorithm. Finally, to sum up the contents of this thesis, and outlook container transport and container tracking technology for future development.
