With the acceleration economic globalization,now intermodal container service develops rapidly.However,due to the imbalance of economic and trade development in the hinterland region and other reasons,unnecessary and costly empty container transportation costs make people realize the importance of reasonable inland container transport network in container transport service door-to-door.Therefore,selecting the appropriate inland container terminal layout in the inland container transport network,promoting the efficiency of inland container transport and effective utilization of inland developed comprehensive transportation system are very important to the development of container transportation enterprises.Inland container depot location and container path planning are becoming the focus of world.First,according to the characteristics of the inland container transportation,this paper divide the inland container transport network with multi-transportation mode into physical network and operational network.The physical network describe the flow of the containers.And the operational network describe the path of the flow of the containers.With Integrating the physical network and operational network,this paper constructs the space-time expanded network of inland container transportation.Secondly,based on the above inland container transport network,this paper builds the inland container depot location and scheduling optimization model which satisfies the time requirements of the import and export customers during the planning period.This model takes the location of inland container depot and the path of container as the decision variables.Next,according to the characteristics of inland container depot location and scheduling optimization model,this paper make Lagrangian relaxation to coupling constraint and make equivalent transformation of the model.The original problem is divided into container capacitated facility location-routing problem and container routing problem with time windows.This paper designs relax-pricing heuristic algorithm to solve the model.Finally,this paper takes inland container depot location and scheduling of Z company in northeast China region as a case study.Results indicate that container freight stations in the central zone are selected as inland container depots.And they make full use of the advantage of transport hub to effectively reduce the empty container transportation distance and the cost.
