Transmission is an important constituent of vehicle transmission system, its work characteristics related to the transmission performance and even the vehicle. Synchronizer as a core component of manual transmission. It's motion and dynamic characteristics direct impact on transmission performance. The application of virtual prototyping technology not only improves simulation technique's precision, but also saves the time.The dissertation is conducted with the research object of model SC63 transmission of SGMW, and deployed from several aspects based on the perspective of UG and the synchronizer dynamics simulation of virtual prototype technology. It builds a physical model of three-dimensional parametric design for the synchronizer spare parts of each gear and exerts an kinematics simulations on the synchronizer. It discusses the research methods of rigid body dynamical simulation of synchronizer rings and meshing circles in the synchronizer, simultaneously deepens the research on the working process of the synchronizer, meanwhile optimizes the synchronizer main parameters of multiple constraints. And this dissertation mainly contains:Research on the computing method of synchronizer design parameters within the theoretical conditions. Probing into the key factors which influences performances of synchronization and lock-up during the work process of synchronizer. Building a three-dimensional physical model for the synchronizer with UG, and initiates some solutions for the parametric design according to parameterized modeling theory. Consequently, it contrives an assembly modeling on the synchronizer by the means of Bottom-Up method.The simplification simulation model build in UG will import to ADAMS by the parasolid format, and through data interface between them. Using the data fitted from experimental and theoretical study, compile the spline function and change other parameters of synchronizer to simulate the process in the MSC-ADAMS environment in the synchronizer parameters to simulate the process,find main factors of synchronous time. Finally, use the mathematical software MATLAB to analysis the synchronization time by multi-constrained optimization. And then to find out a set of optimal solutions to guide the design of synchronizer, even presents a more in-depth research method to optimize.This thesis indicates that building simulation model of the synchronizer can gain relative exact result, the optimization results can be further improved feedback to the design process. More important that we can simulate the process in the synchronizing process before physical prototypes have been made. By combined technology of CAD and CAE, kinematics simulation analyze of complex machine is perfectly set out and it has direct instructional meaning for engineering.
