Research On Switches Optimal Allocation In Distribution Networks Considering Distributed Generators

The combination of distributed generation (DG) and main networks is considered a principle way that could reduce investment outlay, lower the energy depletion and improve reliability of distribution systems. And it is the development trend of the smart grid. Optimal switching device placement is of vital importance for distribution networks'planning and operation. At present, all the study on DG impact on reliability of distribution systems is negative evaluation. No references exploit the positive effects of DG now. In this paper, a swicthes optimal allocation model for distribution systems with DG is established, considering the dynamic islanding operation mode of distributed power. The island formation probability calculation method is discussed based on the successful operation probability. The paper puts forward a swicthes optimal allocation method of distribution systems in which DG islanding operation is allowed, and gets the optimal switch configuration scheme of distribution systems with distributed power using genetic algorithm (GA). Then, applying the algorithm to a simple example, through comparative study demonstrates that this algorithm is correct and effective. The results show that considering the influence of DG islanding operation in swicthes optimal allocation of distribution networks containing distributed power, solutions will be more economical and effective.Additionally, this paper introduces the concept of load subarea to GA, and uses reliability constraints for genetic algorithm selection operation. This reduces the amount of calculation greatly.
