Concrete face rockfill dams (CFRD) have developed to be a new competitive dam in recent decades.Rockfill's superior performance make building higher CFRD to be possible. Although CFRD has many advantages,it also has its own shortage.Due to the smaller section,relying on upstream face very thin concrete slab to prevent water seepage,the higher dam may produce greater deformation and produce many dire consequences.How to correctly evaluate the security properties of dam in all kinds of conditions, and on this basis optimization design,improve the construction method, which have become a key problem of the development of CFRD.Because the good engineering characteristics of rockfill is to guarantee the safety and reliability of the CFRD,studying the dam materials working characteristics is premise of building higher CFRD.This requests us to master the dam's materials parameters accurately according to back analysis with the monitoring data,then calculate the stress and strain of dam and slope stability reliability,finally proposes the evaluation report.According to the project characteristics and key technical problems of CFRD,this topic do some research on safety problems of Shuibuya CFRD from deformation and stress of dam and slope stability by finite element numerical analysis and intelligent optimization algorithm.The work about the above-mentioned content has been carried out as follows:Ant colony clustering radial basis function (ACCRBF)network is a neural network model based on ant colony clustering algorithm and RBF neural network which can get the representative clustering center with higher convergence precision.This network is applied for multi-parameter back analysis problem of Shuibuya CFRD,obtained parameters of rockfill more close to actual work traits.According to the back analysis result,the deformation and stress of the dam is calculated by finite element method and predict safety properties of dam storage to 400 meters.For slope stability analysis and calculation of shuibuya typical section, introducing the reliability index as complementary to the conventional factor of safety. The reliability analysis problem is modeled as a constrained optimization problem and solved by DE with a constraint handling strategy.
