In recent years,with the development of seismic studies of bridge,it can be meet the requirements of the seismic design of bridges by setting the isolated bearings and energy dissipation restrainer. However, dynamic response of isolated bridge is different from a ordinary one. In this paper, the transverse direction of isolated bridge was taken as an example to analyze the seismic response of isolated bridges. Adopting Finite Element software Midas is to establish finite element model and the time history analysis. To analyze the seismic factors of lateral isolated continuous girder bridge, the paper gives a series of calculations parameter model. Though changing the parameters and analysis the dynamic response of bridge, it can be definite the lateral seismic isolated bridge factors further, and give some advices about reasonable setting isolated bearings.Usually, the restrainer makes the response of substructure of the isolated bridge increased, only grasping the influence the restrainer make on the dynamic characteristics of isolated bridges correctly, the design can be more in line with the characteristics of dynamic response of isolated bridge and making the isolated bridge more reasonable and reliable. This paper presents a "shaft level" restrainer and studies its limit theory and the influence on the dynamic response of substructure of isolated bridge by numerical calculation. The results show that as long as a reasonable set of restrainer, the seismic response of substructure of isolated bridge can be controlled in an ideal range.
