With the development of the technology of Isolation and Energy Dissipation, the baseisolation structure has been widely used at home and abroad. At present, dynamictime-history analysis is the main method of isolation structure design in China. But itscomputational is complexity, which will spend a lot of time, and can not consider therandomness of earthquakes and statistics.Comparing the response spectrum in the seismic code of China, Europe and theUnited States, found that the value of design acceleration response spectrum in Chineseseismic code is too large in the long period range, which is not conducive to thedevelopment of isolated structure. In order to get a reasonable, suitable design accelerationresponse spectrum and a design displacement response spectrum, for base isolationstructure, in this paper, established a single-particle model with one rubber bearing, andanalyzed150natural seismic waves on class II sites, resulted the average accelerationresponse spectrum and the average displacement response spectrum from0s to10s ofdifferent damping ratio. There are a large gap between the average acceleration responsespectrum and the design acceleration response spectrum of the code for seismic design ofbuildings.On the mean response spectra were fitted by the least square method, design ofacceleration responses of isolated structure of new design spectrum and displacementresponse spectrum are obtained. And then, use an engineering example to validate thereliability of the design acceleration response spectrum and the design displacementresponse spectra. Spectrum and displacement response spectrum using the design ofbase-isolated structure design are given in this paper, the acceleration reaction, can rapidestimation of isolation structure with large damping long cycle, the displacement ofisolation layer and the upper structure of the floor shear force and displacement.
