With the increasing domestic and international attention toward environmental protection and demanded on the vehicle comfort. The Parking heater which can assist automotive cold start under low temperature while heating for car has been widely used. In the usage actual process, the Parking heater has some problem of low combustion efficiency and high discharge of pollutants due to its faults. Therefore, we use the YJH-Q5/1 environmentally parking heater as a prototype. On the basis of the engine combustion technology, according to combustion theory, heat transfer, pollutant formation mechanism, modern design and other related theories, We have charge the stucture of the parking heater's combustion chamber without modified the external dimensions and the structure dimensions. We should reduced the discharged of pllutants when we reasonably organized the flow to improving the combustion efficiency. We have completed the following job:1. Through building the three-dimensional physical model of the Parking heater, using the FLUENT software, we simulation calculate some parameters such as the gas flow distribution, combustion, temperature distribution, pressure distribution, discharge of pollutants. Analysing the themal parameters, it provided the theorctical basis for achiered the purpose of the parking heater with the high efficiency and low energy consumption.2. Combining the results of simalation, according to the case of modified parameters,we manufacted the combustion chamber of the parling heater.we has carry out the contrast exprement.3. We have compared the modified machine with the pratotype on the test stand. The expremental results has shown that the modified prototype could significantly enhance the reliability of ignition and reduce emissions of pollutants during the startup and shutdown.According to the research, we could conclued that the liquid fuel could better mixed with the air with the midified the structure. It could improving the combust efficiency, reduced the discharged of pllutants and optimizing economy and applicability of the parking heater. It could mainly achieving the goal of high efficiency and low consumption.
