Chinese-made 2025 prompted the development of automobile industry in our country,for motor vehicle pollution control system has been formed,the relevant laws,regulations,standard system and environmental management system are being perfected,regulatory capacity also stepped up,and how to ensure the cars in severe winter to reduce car emissions in cold start phase,become a urgent problem.So the study using the heater to reduce gasoline engine emission target is of great economic and social benefits.Above all,the paper analyzes the various factors which cause the difficulties of engine cold start and concludes that it has great advantages,like easy start,loss reducing,of using vehicle independent heater.Meanwhile coolant is heated,the temperature rises,HC and CO emissions begin to diminish.The data that is found in the experiment shows the temperature of coolant arrived at 30 ?,the emission of HC and Co will diminish apparently.In addition,the low environmental temperature will cause the diminish of automobile battery voltage while using,and meanwhile will prolong the ignition time of the gasoline engine,accordingly the emission pollutant will increase.During the experiment,we also find that the higher the electrolyte density,the lower its temperature.Along with the increasing of the electrolyte density,the electrolyte viscosity and internal resistance will also increase,the infiltrability will decrease,and according the battery voltage and charge capacity will decease too.When environmental temperature dropped from 25 ? to-15?,battery voltage drop 0.05 V.When heating the battery,and keep the temperature 5?,compared with environment temperature,-12 ?,the HC and CO emission can diminish apparently.So heating the battery favor the quick start of automobile,meanwhile producing of HC and CO can be limited,then the intake temperature will also influence the amount of the emission pollutant.According to the experimental data,when the engines intake temperature are heated to60 ?,at the moment,the evaporation of fuel is the best,the fuel is more easily to ignite,and the burning is better,which can diminish the production of emission pollutant.So the experiments show that the intake temperature can diminish the emission of HC and CO.Referring to the emission problem about automobile starting influenced by the low temperature environment,the author took the emission experiments at different low temperatures to observe the emission of CO and HC,and the monitor experiments of starting at low temperature environment were also taken by using the co-work of the gasoline engine and YJH-Q5B/1 liquid heater,also comparing Co emission with that of HC in the cold start condition of engine coolant warm-up or not,analyze the various reasons that influence performance of gasoline engine cold start.According to the experimental data of co-testing to heater and gasoline engine of the automobile,we got the conclusion of the paper: gasoline engine working with heater improves the temperature of the components,improves the evaporation and atomization of the fuel,reduces HC and CO emission effectively.On the other hand,the improvement of mixture formation conditions reduces the probability of local oxygen enrichment and the NOx emission.So vehicle-mounted heater can reduce emission pollution of the engine at low temperature effectively.
